Tintilla de Rota 2011
Singular wine made from the Tintilla variety of Rota, high expression and complexity. It is a native variety of Andalusia, which original development potentially creates wines suitable for ageing, with a characteristic balance of fruit and acidity.
The harvest of this variety was made in the third week of September, although a variety of short cycle, may extend maturity to this date for optimum adaptation to the warm climate of Andalusia.
In its development, it is to be mentioned alcoholic fermentation in French oak barrels of 500 L, where a thorough and caring work is done by daily treading effectively breaking the hat for an extraction of a wide range of aromas. Subsequently, malolactic fermentation is done in French oak barrels of 225 L, allowing better integration of which wood finally goes to keep in touch during the next 16 months.
Ruby red wine and cherry red highlights in its ring, High Intensity and medium layer. Its initial aromas through the nose presents toasted French oak and fruity notes (blackcurrant, blackberry) and while it is oxygenated aromas of herbs appear mixed with balsamic touches.
The wine has a gentle entrance to the palate, filled with velvety sensations derived from mature and polished tannins, presents a remarkable acidity that leaves fresh notes on the sweet and fatty palate providing balance in the mouth, finishing with an after of very nice red fruits.
